Straalen is a real entertainer and a voice that is second to none. I remember when Billy Gilman sang his first song and I thought what a great vocal range. I believe that Straalen will do as well or better in an industry that cries for perfect pitch trebles. His expressionism is maximized by his charm and he can capture an audience and draw them in with winning ability. I believe that this is a true star in the making!

Re: Straalen McCallum

I like the white, athletic ankle socks with his tuxedo (0:35) - a classy touch! ;) A very nice projection anyway. He could use some classical training, but if he prefers pop or rock music it won't matter as much.

Re: Straalen McCallum

I would like to thank Tony for his willingness to publish a guest article in my blog and the wonderful job he did. Never heard of him. But somehow his music goes right into my ear... his voice is so smooth, the music soft.

I did not want to say that he somehow reminds me of Bobby Darin indeed, e.g. the movie with Kevin Spacey. Just referring to the overall style and mood of the music. But then I clicked on the link - well, fitted my thoughts, hehe ;-)

A very nice introduction, I hope that there will be more to hear and see from him - please keep us informed !

Greetings,

Ikarus
