Thanks for commenting on the film Monkeyboy67. I appreciate that. Indeed just people often think that what they have decided is the best solution for everyone else. I intend to put some extra footage from the film in the forum too.

I have now watched the film and I really liked it. I loved the acting. Bernado looked so much better with shorter hair. I really had "Close to Leo" in my head when they bought in the HIV thing and the suspense at the end was heartstopping!

It was a great story and highlighted how adults often forget about the child and his or her feelings. Whos the say Bernado would get worse grades if he stayed with his Uncle? The grandmother was still a heartless cow for splinting the boy and his Uncle up!

Would definitely recommend and watch again and again.

Its a bit provocative movie - even for me . But I guess that is what makes it even more interesting .In any case I linked to your review

Oh yes, I managed to watch this flick now, too. But I have to state: it is a quite good movie, but I did not like it as much as you did... I finished the german review, right now I am working on the english one. Feel free to check it out when it is ready ! Regards, Ikarus
