i saw leon on 28th may and he was just soo amazing i doubt any other billy could be as good as him...he danced sung and acted amazingly!!! and to alice 3 comments above...his bday is the 30th =] lol

liam he rocks the musical was great and i am mad about it i now know every word to every song and cant stop talking about it .....im obsessed.i went to go an see leon and thought he was amazing i would go and see it again.he acted very mature and he was gr8....a must see .i am the biggest fan of all the billy elliot fans all my friends woudl tell you that.i was so funny although there was loads of swearing all it did was help to express billy fellings therefore it was the best musical i have ever ever seen.xxxxxx

Yes Kim a DVD with the musicale would be great , but I doubt that it would happen before they play it in the US. Other then that as I have said many times my all times fav Billy is Liam

I have seen the musical with collin bates playing billy, it was his last performance and it was amazing. everyone in the audience cried!

I think while most people favoured Liam, Colin follows closely behind. I have come to find that Colin has a strong following in the UK and its spreading around to the US. Billy Elliot was the best thing I have seen onstage. Training in acting myself, you would think that Theatre is always impressive to me. But it actually takes quite a bit to impress me onstage. So if I say this about Billy Elliot, you know its gotta be amazing hahaha. Colin is one of the most genuine and talented performers I have seen period. And as I said, it takes alot for me to think that way about an actor or a play or film. Ofcourse, he still has evolving to do, as any other actor, but he will do great things in the future.

Billy Elliot has to be one of the best musicals i have every seen, and the set was fab!Colin bates is an amazing dancer, people say that he wasnt the best bily but i think he was an amazing actor and dancer... i cant wait to see him in other productions.

I'm from Canada and I saw Billy Elliot this past week when I went to London for the week. I had the chance to see Colin Bates and yes, he is the best Billy. I;'ve seen so much footage of the others, and while I find Liam to be great and very deep, Colin just won me over. I'll be watching his career very closely. His final performance in rthe musical is this week.

i think you should have pictures of the new billy elliots aswell. you only have the old ones and thy don't even do it any more!

Colin is pretty good dancer indeed James - I find his personal style to be a bit more aggressive than the one of Liam trough - which is not necessarily a bad thing

Well I have watched a lot of videos - while live performance would be different I still can get some kind of idea - to me Liam gets into the music and the dance - and he used to be at the Royal balley school - there are few interviews of him and he seems really cool as a person as well.

My fav. performer is Liam - and I hope that the Musical will go on tour - because if they play it in Spain for example it will be much more easy for me to see it.

I'm quite interested in the musical, too. Unfortunately, I haven't yet had a chance to fly to UK and see the show; but I always check out the info. on forum of BETM.
Besides the original ones, there have been many Billys performing in the play: Leon Cooke, Travis Yates, Colin Bates, Metthew Koon, and the upcoming.
